- Initial 6-month contract
- Pays up to $60.27 p/h + super (7hr a day)
Sydney Museum is looking for a Construction Project Officer with experience delivering Minor Works projects to join their team. You will provide support to the Senior Manager in the delivery of building refurbishment/upgrades and related projects across the museum.
About the role:
- Manage and monitor all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures
- Prepares and provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and to support project development and delivery
- Liaise with other divisions to negotiate outcomes and resources for inter-divisional projects ensuring projects are delivering on time.
- Assists with the implementation of business transformational processes and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations
Essentials:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or another relevant field and / or an equivalent in experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge of and experience with the technical details of building fabric, structure, engineering/building services within major public and heritage building environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
