NSW Government Agency is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for the administration of professional services contracts of various types, including engagements under the NSW Government’s Performance and Management Services Prequalification Scheme (SCM0005), in accordance with legislation, policies, procedures and processes.

 

About the role:

  • Prepare contract variation documentation (e.g. Briefing Notes and Variation Letters) to obtain internal approvals;
  • Notify service providers of variations;
  • Maintain accurate records in the relevant records management system (Desksite);
  • Have a good understanding of the Competition Limits for flow-on engagements, in accordance with relevant Scheme Rules and guidelines is essential;
  • Understand the General and Financial Delegations and the GIPA Act;
  • Enter approved variations into PMWeb to manage project and contract expenditure;
  • Problem solve collaboratively resolve issues such as timesheet and invoicing/claims processes;
  • Report on periodic Contractor Performance: this involves facilitating this process for the relevant project personnel to assess performance of Service Providers.

 

Essentials:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or an equivalent in experience
  • Experience working within the NSW Government in a similar capacity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
