Data Analyst| North Sydney| Temporary 3 months

Job description

I am currently looking for an experienced junior Data Analyst for a 3 month temporary position that could be extended.   Hours of work are 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday based in an extremely desirable and easily accessible location within North Sydney. The position could also mean that you would need to travel to Pennant Hills on rare occasions. 

Duties to include: 

• Working with Engagement Soecialists to ensure data is obtained within lead times 
• Schedule and forecast data requirements  
• Processing assigned data within the agreed SLA's 
• Maintain the data catalogue to track status of data collection, analysis and provisioning 
• Validating data from a range of varying sources 
• Cleanse and process data to make fit for purpose  
• Load data sets into a range of platforms (Quintiq, Sharepoint, Land Access & Compliance Management)  
• Maintain and refresh data in line with data governance and privacy guidelines  

I am looking for candidates with the following skills/background: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Planning or Relevant Field  
• Experience working in processing, administration or planning roles within the Telecommunications sector – 1 year  
• Superior skills in Microsoft Excel with the ability to use Macros and Functions to process and cleanse large Excel datasets  
• Experience using Geographical Information Systems  
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams to ensure efficient processes  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
