Job description

A Tier 1 Consulting firm with a strong branding in eDiscovery and Digital Forensic is seeking a well-rounded eForensic Manager for their Sydney CBD team. The role has been created to focus on the consistent increase of complex cases given to the firm by highly visible corporate clients. As a senior member of this growing team, you will play an instrumental role in large investigations while contributing as a Subject Matter Exert to the development and training of Analysts and Senior Analysts. This role require a high-level of client-facing responsibilities and will suit well an experienced eForensic professional with excellent presentation skills and customer-care.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on complex investigations by applying specialist eForensic expertise
  • Contribute to the identification, collection, analysis of digital evidences and presentation of the findings to the clients of the firm
  • Act a a key advisor on the design and construction of the firm eForensic lab facilities
  • Be a key contact to authorities in the framework of large and sensitive investigations
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to the junior members of the team while contributing to the recruitment efforts


Requirements:

  • At least 7 years' in a eForensic role for a consulting firm, a bank or the Federal govenrment
  • Hands-on experience in system administration, cyber security, database administration or software development
  • Experience as a Team Lead or Manager
  • Strong experience in Computer Forensics software such as EnCase, X-Ways, Celebrite, FTK and Nuix
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills in a customer-facing environment


This role will suit well either a eForensic Specialist / Manager in a specialized consulting firm or an highly experienced eForensic professional in the Financial Services industry or in the Federal Government.
