Job description

Charterhouse are partnering with a large organisation, who are undertaking a major enterprise systems transformation through the implementation of a new end-to-end ERP platform spanning Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Asset Management, Rates, and core operational functions.

With the vendor and implementation partner already selected, the program has now moved into delivery. We are seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Project Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end implementation through to go-live and post-implementation stabilisation.

This is a hands-on delivery leadership role requiring strong coordination across business and technical teams, with accountability for outcomes, timelines, and successful organisational adoption.

The role is based in regional Queensland with a hybrid working arrangement. Candidates must be comfortable working in a regional location and be willing to be onsite as required to effectively lead delivery, engage stakeholders, and drive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the ERP implementation program through planning, execution, go-live, and stabilisation
  • Own the integrated project plan including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and critical path activities
  • Coordinate closely with the ERP implementation partner and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • Facilitate business process mapping, redesign, and alignment to the new ERP solution
  • Oversee data migration activities including cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness
  • Manage testing phases including SIT, UAT, defect management, and resolution tracking
  • Lead cutover planning and execution to support a controlled and successful go-live
  • Support organisational readiness and adoption in partnership with change and business stakeholders
  • Provide clear governance reporting and updates to the CFO and steering committee
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies with appropriate escalation and mitigation planning
  • Oversee post go-live hypercare and transition to business-as-usual support
About You

You are an experienced ERP delivery professional who has successfully led complex, end-to-end implementations in large or multi-faceted organisations.

You are confident operating across business and technical teams and are comfortable taking accountability for delivery outcomes in a hands-on environment.

You will bring:
  • Proven experience delivering full lifecycle ERP implementations
  • Strong project or program management capability within enterprise systems environments
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives
  • Experience managing vendors, systems integrators, and implementation partners
  • Strong understanding of business process improvement, systems integration, and data migration
  • High level of governance, reporting, and delivery discipline
  
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in public sector, utilities, infrastructure, or similarly complex environments
  • Exposure to Finance, Payroll, Asset Management, or Procurement ERP modules
  • SaaS ERP implementation experience
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent)
