Finance Analyst (Group FP&A / Corporate Strategy)Duration: 12 month FTC, will lead to internal opportunties
Location: Sydney CBD
Salary: $140,000 package (inc super)
Reporting to: Senior FP&A Manager
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a high-calibre Finance Analyst to join a centralised Group FP&A / Corporate Strategy function.
This is a highly visible role that sits at the centre of the organisation's financial planning and performance management activities. Working closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders across multiple business units, you will play a key role in challenging assumptions, influencing financial outcomes, and ensuring the quality and integrity of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
You will be responsible for turning data into meaningful insights, providing robust financial analysis, and supporting decision-making at both operational and executive levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance Business Partners across the organisation to review, challenge and validate forecasts, budgets and financial plans.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasting cycles and long-range financial planning activities.
- Consolidate and analyse financial information from multiple business units to deliver accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist with Board, Executive and leadership reporting, ensuring clear and meaningful financial insights are provided.
- Support complex financial projects and strategic initiatives across the organisation.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting and forecasting processes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business to promote financial accountability and performance.
- CA / CPA qualified
- Experience within FP&A, commercial finance, management accounting, corporate finance or a related analytical finance role.
- You must be curious, be eager to learn and develop.
- Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial planning and reporting systems.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
