Manufacturing Finance Business Partner | Brisbane | PermanentCharterhouse Partnership are partnering with a growing commercial manufacturing organization, who are looking to appoint a Manufacturing Finance Business Partner. This is a hands-on commercial finance role supporting operational performance across production and supply chain, with a strong focus on costing, analysis, and decision support.
The role suits a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams rather than sitting in traditional back-office roles. You’ll act as a true business partner, helping leaders understand performance drivers, improve cost efficiency, and make better data-led decisions as the business continues to scale.
Key responsibilities include product costing, variance and margin analysis, inventory accounting, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. You will also develop reporting tools and dashboards, improve financial models, and contribute to system and process enhancements within ERP environments. A strong element of the role involves working across functions to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
You will be confident engaging with non-finance stakeholders, translating complex data into clear insights, and influencing decisions across manufacturing and leadership teams. Strong analytical capability, commercial acumen, and a proactive mindset are essential.
Experience in manufacturing or operational finance is important, particularly with exposure to costing, inventory, and performance analysis. Strong ERP skills and experience with Power BI or similar tools will be highly regarded. A degree in finance or related field is expected along with CPA, CIMA, CA (or nearing completion).
