Job description
Financial Accountant
- 6-month contract with possible extension
- Hybrid working (Macquarie Park/WFH)
- Immediate Start
A leading consumer business based in Macquarie Park is looking to hire a Financial Accountant on a 6-month contract. You will work closely with the Finance Manager supporting them on a range of accounting responsibilities including financial accounting and compliance.
About the Role
- Key month end financial reporting tasks will include general ledger maintenance
- Perform month end closing activities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Assisting the external audit process
- Assisting with tax compliance
- Support Finance and cross-functional projects with a focus on achieving business improvements and standardization such as process improvements and implementation
- Ad hoc reporting and project work
Skills & Experience
- CPA/CA Qualified
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience working as a Financial Accountant within a medium/large organisation
