Financial Accountant - ERP Implementation and ESG Reporting- 12 month FTC
- CBD Location | Hybrid Working
- $140,000 - $160,000 package
This is not your typical Financial Accountant role.
We’re partnering with a business in the middle of a major transformation across both Finance and ERP, creating a rare opportunity for someone coming from a Top 10 environment who enjoys working at the intersection of technical accounting, process improvement, systems and business change.
The business is investing heavily in building a best practice finance function, and this role will play a critical part in ensuring the new ERP environment is built correctly from a technical accounting, controls and reporting perspective from day one.
You won’t simply inherit processes, you’ll help shape them.
Alongside the ERP program, the business is also continuing to evolve its sustainability and ESG reporting capability, meaning this role will also gain exposure to emerging reporting frameworks and non-financial reporting requirements.
The Opportunity
- Support the implementation of new finance processes and controls within the ERP environment from a technical accounting perspective
- Ensure accounting treatments, reporting structures and reconciliations are technically accurate and scalable
- Partner with stakeholders across finance transformation projects
- Assist with sustainability and ESG reporting requirements
- CA/CPA qualified
- First movers from a Top 10 or Mid Tier firm are strongly encouraged to apply
- Strong technical accounting foundation
- Exposure to ERP implementations, finance transformation or process improvement projects
- Curious mindset with an interest in how systems, reporting and finance interact
- Ability to communicate confidently with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Interest in sustainability/ESG reporting is highly regarded
