About the Company
I’m partnering with a well-established manufacturing business, looking for a Financial Controller to join their team. You’ll be working closely with the CFO and leading a small, capable finance team.
About the Role
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of qualified accountants
- Review and approve journal entries prepared by the accounting team
- Oversee and maintain key balance sheet reconciliations, including inventory-related accounts
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles
- Prepare and lodge annual statutory accounts and quarterly board reporting
- Drive ad hoc projects, including process improvements, cost-control initiatives, and reporting enhancements
- CA/CPA qualification
- Experience as a Financial Controller (or similar) within a manufacturing or product-based business
- Strong people-leadership skills and a supportive management style
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
