FP&A Analyst3-Month Contract | Potential Extension
Sydney CBD | Hybrid Working
$450 - $500 + Super Per Day
An established education organisation is seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join their finance team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.
Working closely with senior finance leaders and key stakeholders across the business, you will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making during a busy planning and reporting period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and management reporting
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives
- Analyse trends, variances, and performance against budget
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide commercial and financial insights
- Assist with month-end reporting and board-level reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls
- CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
- Demonstrated experience within FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering roles
- Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel capabilities with the ability to interpret and present complex data
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience within education, government, or complex service-based environments will be highly regarded
