Job description
A rapidly growing logistics tech business is hiring multiple Senior Full Stack Java Engineers to build the platforms at the core of modern fulfilment — powering the flow from online checkout to warehouse to doorstep, at high volume, every day.You’ll report directly to the CTO, take ownership of architecture, and deliver software that drives real-world outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and building the integration layer that connects eCommerce platforms, warehouse systems, and last-mile delivery networks — the critical infrastructure that keeps orders moving.
- Working across the full stack with a strong backend focus: Java + Spring Boot, React, all hosted on AWS.
- Building event-driven microservices, messaging pipelines, and real-time dashboards processing thousands of daily orders.
- Owning the full engineering lifecycle: architecture, deployment, observability, and production support — end to end, no handovers.
- Working in modern environments with containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling as the default.
- 5+ years of commercial Java experience, with strong relational database skills
- Proven experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in real production environments
- Strong knowledge of Kafka (or similar), event-driven architecture, and microservices at scale
- Frontend capability in React and/or TypeScript
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or eCommerce is a bonus — but outstanding engineering skill matters most
