Group Accountant for leading ASX listed manufacturing business required to support the Financial Controller. This role is responsible for the month end process and will constantly provide support to the Shared Service team. This position is the senior within the team and will require you to develop junior members.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading the month end process and making sure all deadlines are met
- Providing constant support to the Shared Services Team including managing several process improvements and enhancement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with Australian and New Zealand accounting standards and reporting
- Reviewing of Tax journals
- Providing communication with internal and external stakeholders such as external auditors
- Ad hoc work
Experience required includes:
- You must be a CA/CPA qualified accountant
- You must have 2/3 years post qualified experience within a similar role (Financial Accountant/Group Accountant)
- Have strong communication skills
- Ideally have relevant sector experience
