Job description

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to take ownership of the people function within a well-established and growing accounting firm?

We are partnering with an AFR Top 100 Accounting Firm to recruit a People & Culture Manager / HR Manager on a permanent basis.

With 75+ years in the industry and approximately 90–100 staff, the firm provides a broad range of accounting services including tax, audit, insolvency and strategic advisory.

This is a hands-on generalist HR role, working closely with Partners and the Practice Manager to support the firm's people, culture and employee experience.

Previous accounting firm experience is essential


Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
  • Providing HR and employee relations advice to staff and Partners
  • Managing HR policies, contracts, records and compliance
  • Supporting performance, payroll, leave and professional development
  • Driving employee engagement, wellbeing, internal communications and social activities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
