Job description
Expression of Interest – Instructional DesignerDue to the volume of Instructional designer roels that we have been receiving recently we are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Instructional Designers for upcoming contract and permanent opportunities across a range of industries.
These roles will suit professionals who are passionate about creating engaging, learner focused content and have experience working on system implementations, digital learning solutions, and organisational change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging learning solutions (eLearning, instructor-led, blended learning)
- Conduct training needs analysis and translate requirements into effective learning outcomes
- Develop storyboards, scripts, and learning materials aligned to adult learning principles
- Collaborate with SMEs, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Support UAT, system rollouts, and change initiatives with training materials and delivery
- Facilitate training sessions (virtual and/or face-to-face) where required
- Evaluate and continuously improve learning effectiveness
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an Instructional Designer in corporate or project environments
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g. ADDIE, SAM)
- Experience working in Agile or fast-paced project environments (desirable)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience supporting system implementations (e.g. SAP, HRIS, CRM) highly regarded
Tools & Technologies:
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- eLearning authoring tools: Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Lectora
- Design tools: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva
- Video & multimedia: Camtasia, Vyond, Premiere Pro
- Learning platforms: LMS/LXP platforms such as Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Moodle
- Collaboration tools: Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira
- Other: SAP Enable Now, WalkMe, or other digital adoption platforms
