Intermediate Accountant in NewcastleSummary
Charterhouse have partnered with a top-tier firm who are recruiting for an Intermediate Accountant role within the Newcastle region. The firm are looking to recruit for a position where the candidate can step into the role and will be looking to develop their skills to progress in their career.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting and advisory services. You’ll build your technical capability, gain exposure to a variety of client structures and industries, and be supported to grow into a confident, client-facing professional over time.

The firm are looking for someone to step into an accountant role which will help them develop their business service skills and offer great career progression.
The role includes:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Support the delivery of advisory services and assist with client queries
- Working across a variety of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, and unit trusts
- Contributing to proactive client service
- Collaborating with senior team members to deliver high-quality outcomes
- You’ll work across a diverse client base – from ambitious family businesses to high-net-worth individuals – delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services.

About you
- Degree qualified in Accounting or similar
- CA Qualified or progressing towards completion
- Minimum 2+ year's experience in a public practice firm
- Good attention to detail & quality technical skills
- Looking for a long-term career move, with a real chance of career progression and into a client facing role
- Experience preparing work for a range of entities including companies, trusts, partnerships, and trusts
