About the Role:

This role will be hybrid, with flexible working options.

  • System Administration of ITSM ServiceNow application
  • Level 2 IT support for incident, request and problem solving of Council Applications
  • You will report directly to the Applications Team Lead
  • Propose and pursue integration, system and infrastructure to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Someone who is capable to manage projects or initiatives
  • Manage existing custom integrations between Council applications
  • Develop application functionality and automate operations tasks via programming code and custom implementations
  • Provide expert advice on the existing Council applications, proactively work with all business functions to understand and fulfil Council needs and develop methods to add new functionality to existing applications

About You:

  • 3 years’ experience with ServiceNow Administration
  • Knowledge of ITIL
  • Must possess an understanding of the application of modern programming languages and SQL, with the ability to write codes and manipulates databases
  • Highly developed ability in the application of application installation, upgrades, maintenance and support, including the underlying principles as distinct from the practices
  • Excellent relationship management skills, as well as highly developed communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must provide a high level of customer service
  • Understand methodologies and frameworks relevant to ICT application management
  • Technical proficiency with an aptitude for working with IT hardware.
  • Advanced teamwork skills, must be able to connect with colleagues and work together toward common goals
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities and follow direction to plan and organise.
  • Ability to work autonomously and seek guidance when necessary
  • Proof of vaccination certificate
