The Role

As a Junior Accountant, you’ll gain invaluable exposure across accounting, tax, and advisory services. Working closely with experienced seniors and managers, you’ll build a strong foundation in technical accounting and client management while being supported every step of the way.

Your Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
  • Assisting in tax compliance and advisory work across a diverse client portfolio.
  • Supporting the team with audit assignments and project-based work.
  • Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management reports and budgets.
  • Staying up to date with tax and accounting standards and applying them in practice.
  • Working with cloud accounting software (Xero, MYOB, etc.) and internal workflow systems.
About You
  • Degree qualified (or near completion) in Accounting/Commerce.
  • Commenced or intending to commence CA/CPA studies.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in building a career in public practice.
