• Decision support for business unit
• CBD location/ $115k package

My client is looking to hire a management accountant to work closely with the finance lead of the largest business unit globally. It is an operational role where you will offer decision support and have excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and the CFO.  As a business, they offer career progression, mentoring and constantly look to develop their staff. The finance team within this business is high performing and set a high standard within the business.   

Responsibilities within this role will include:

• Maintain and develop key elements of the financial control framework
• Manage the month-end process for the business unit and make sure it is completed within the timelines
• Deliver monthly management reporting to stakeholders
• Deliver high- quality management reporting and analysis to support initiatives
• Support the development of new strategies
• Ad-hoc 

Key requirements within the role include:

• Qualified accountant (CPA/CA)
• 4 years’ experience within similar role or first-time mover from the big 4 (or leading mid-tier firm)
• Have excellent communication skills and a high standard of work
• Relevant sector experience is preferred
