Senior Accountant | Manufacturing | Scenic Rim, QLD

Charterhouse is partnering with a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector to appoint a Senior Accountant.

Our client is a well-established and fast-growing manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and operational excellence.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role best suited to a technically strong accountant who enjoys working closely with operations and contributing to business performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and supporting day-to-day financial operations across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and supporting reports
Analysing financial performance and providing clear insights and recommendations to management
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow activities
Leading internal audit and compliance activities across the organisation
Overseeing bookkeeping and payroll functions
Reviewing and improving financial systems and processes
Translating financial data into meaningful insights for non-financial stakeholders
Supporting and guiding a small finance team, stepping in where required to ensure continuity

To be successful, you will bring:

A degree in Accounting, with CPA qualification completed or in progress
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability
Experience in a manufacturing or complex operational environment preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to support or supervise team members
A professional presentation and approach
