Job description
- Management Accountant Analyst
- NSW State Government
- Contract 5 months + potential extension
- $400 - $600 per day depending on experience
- Parramatta + WFH
- Provide high-quality management reports for forecasting and variance analysis purposes
- Provide general accounting support including year-end and monthly work paper reviews
- Provide WIP Support including capitalisation, forecasting and year-end activities
- Provide advice and support to the business with regards to the costing model and how costs are allocated
- Ensure receipting has been done properly and allocated to the right cost objectives
- Demonstrated technical capability to use business and financial data to drive revenue, cost and capital management outcomes
- Proficiency in one or more ERP Finance, Asset Management and related systems
- S4HANA and Advanced Excel skills
- Effective interpersonal communication and client service skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process and reporting improvements
- Basic understanding of IPART and the regulatory process
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management accounting or financial accounting environment
