About the company
My client is one of Australia’s leading mining and materials companies employing 10,000 people in Australia alone. Having recently been acquired by GFG they have joined a global leader in the mining and materials industry.

About the role

  • This is a part-time Marketing Communications Coordinator; the hours will be 25 hours a week which can be spread over either three or five days a week.
  • The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage the design, message and content of internal and external communications to increase visibility and presence amongst customers and manage all coordination and administration for the department.

You will be required to:

  • Update content on the intranet, website and social media sites ensuring content is up to date, consistency in the key message to the market and visibility using SEO’s
  • Design and manage marketing material including brochures, videos and animations
  • Assist with department administration and coordination including updating the customer database and preparing sales and marketing reports
  • Manage and update the KPI and sales boards and ensure the sales team are up to date on product knowledge

About you

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and proven copy writing experience
  • Exposure to ERP systems, use of JD Edwards, Citrix BW, BI Desktop 365, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and google analytics would be preferable but is not essential to the role
  • A high level of enthusiasm, initiative and natural creative flair
  • The ability to take direction but also the ability to work autonomously when required and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
