Office Coordinator / Receptionist
  • North Sydney | Stunning modern office located beside public transport
  • Initial 6-week temp assignment with strong potential to extend
  • ASAP start available | $50 per hour + super
We are currently seeking a proactive, energetic, and highly personable Office Coordinator / Receptionist to join a fast-paced and forward-thinking company within the engineering industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a vibrant and collaborative workplace where no two days are the same.
 
This role sits at the heart of the business and would suit someone who enjoys being constantly on the go, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in creating a positive office experience for staff and visitors alike.
 
The Role
  • Meeting and greeting clients, visitors, and staff
  • Managing front desk and reception operations
  • Coordinating meeting rooms and setting up for internal and external events
  • Handling deliveries, couriers, and incoming mail
  • Maintaining office presentation and ensuring shared spaces are organised
  • Ordering and replenishing office supplies, kitchen items, and stock
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc office coordination tasks
  • Assisting with office logistics and being hands-on around the workplace
  • Helping create a positive, engaging, and welcoming office culture
About You
  • 2-3+ years' experience in Reception, Front-of-House, or Office Coordination roles
  • Able to hit the ground running with minimal direction
  • A true go-getter with a proactive and hands-on attitude
  • Confident working in fast-paced, high-energy office environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional, polished, and approachable presentation
  • Someone who enjoys being the "go-to" person within the office
