Job description
This is a newly available position 3-month contract, for a Policy Officer to work on a new project with a strong focus on connecting rural communities through community schools.The Role:
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Contribute to the preparation of high quality evaluation reports
- Program, project and activity research
- Providing advice on inter-governmental policies
- Preparation of high quality policy advice
- Liaising with key stakeholders in the organisation to effectively communicate analysis and advice
- Great data analysis skills
- Strong track record of delivering complex projects in a policy environment
- Excellent stakeholder management experience - evidence of delivering projects and progressing agendas with multiple stakeholder interest
- Excellent writing skills with proven ability to produce high quality documents for different audiences
- Experience in providing high level policy advice in a multi-disciplinary environment is required
- Government experience is essential with a sound knowledge of the public sector
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
