Job description
- Product Owner / Manager – hands-on leader for all aspects related to software products, you will be a key member of the leadership team and will have a direct impact on the future success of the company
- Experience in a Software, SaaS, or Cloud Services company (mandatory)
- Permanent Opportunity - $140k - $150k + Super
- Immediate start – Sydney CBD
Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee product strategy development and defining the roadmap and steps required to bring products and product features to fruition
- Lead the team of software engineers and quality assurance engineers
- Develop a deep understanding of customer needs with regards to document and email management and archiving
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products and services
- Represent the voice of the customers in product development and be the interface between development, support, marketing, and sales
- Take on a product owner role that includes managing the product backlog, defining user stories, and leading sprint planning and review meetings
- Collaborate with solutions architects, technical team, and subject matter experts to establish and analyse trade-offs between usability, performance, and time etc - Continuously review and improve product development processes to foster collaboration and improve the overall customer experience
- Supervise product testing and facilitate assessing severity and priority of bugs
- Maintain product release notes and support documentation
To be successful for this position you will need to display the following requirements:
- Product experience working in a Software, SaaS, or Cloud Services company
- Proven experience in working in an Agile environment – they are looking for someone to uplift the Agile maturity of the organisation
- Understanding of UI functionality of previous software products
- Be proactive and willing to roll up your sleeves in a small business environment
- Be highly focused and a self-motivated with good critical thinking skills
- Good understanding of the Microsoft 365 Platform
- Interest in working in a broad, fast paced role with broad responsibilities reporting directly into the CEO
- Good attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication and proven quality stakeholder engagement skills – you will relish working in a smaller environment
