Job description
This is an exciting role which will involve you being responsible for the co-ordination and support of events, including an Awards Ceremony. Undertaking a range of high-level administrative support functions and advice to the Branch Executive Director, Executive Officer and the branch to support the timely delivery of business initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the project management of events ensuring key deadlines are identified and met.
- Assist in the development and preparation of detailed documentation to support events and Award judging.
- Co-ordinate and prepare high quality written advice relating to events, and prepare general correspondence, reports and submissions as required.
- Receive, assess and manage telephone enquiries from internal and external callers, including stakeholder liaison in relation to events.
- Review and manage correspondence for signature by the Executive Director as required
- Contribute to Branch administrative support to meet critical timelines.
Essential
- Prior government experience in supporting projects
- High level administration support experience
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Advanced prioritisation skills
- Ability to prepare high quality reports and written advice
