Job description

This is an exciting role which will involve you being responsible for the co-ordination and support of events, including an Awards Ceremony. Undertaking a range of high-level administrative support functions and advice to the Branch Executive Director, Executive Officer and the branch to support the timely delivery of business initiatives and projects. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the project management of events ensuring key deadlines are identified and met. 
  • Assist in the development and preparation of detailed documentation to support events and Award judging. 
  • Co-ordinate and prepare high quality written advice relating to events, and prepare general correspondence, reports and submissions as required. 
  • Receive, assess and manage telephone enquiries from internal and external callers, including stakeholder liaison in relation to events. 
  • Review and manage correspondence for signature by the Executive Director as required 
  • Contribute to Branch administrative support to meet critical timelines. 

Essential

  • Prior government experience in supporting projects
  • High level administration support experience
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Advanced prioritisation skills
  • Ability to prepare high quality reports and written advice
