Job description

This is a rather exciting opportunity to join a successful Construction business. You will be joining a SME environment & reporting into the Financial Controller.
The role includes:
- Month end reporting
- Preparation of monthly reports including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Working closely with the team to ensure all deliverables are met efficiently & accurately
- Being responsive to answering queries and information requests from the business
- Statutory reporting
- Assisting with budgets and forecasts
- Business partnering with project team for cost analysis
- Processing journals
- Managing subcontractor progress claims payments, monthly retentions and payout of retentions
- Checking payroll & ensuring compliance
- Job costing
- Continuous process improvement
- Reviewing expense allocation
