Job description
Join a highly regarded accounting firm in Geelong, where you’ll step into a senior role with a strong focus on workflow management, file review, and team development, while working with a diverse and high-quality client base.As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing the flow and quality of work across the team, reviewing complex files, and ensuring consistent technical standards are maintained. You’ll also support and mentor junior staff, helping to develop capability across the team while maintaining strong client relationships. You will work across a broad portfolio of SMEs, family businesses, and high-net-worth individuals, gaining exposure to complex compliance and advisory work.
About You:
- 6+ years’ experience in Public Practice Accounting
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong technical knowledge across tax, including CGT, FBT and Division 7A
- Experience in workflow management, file review, or team leadership highly regarded
- Confident communicator with the ability to guide and mentor junior staff
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and efficiency
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
