About you
  • CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge across business services and taxation
  • Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior accountants
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills
  • Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in advisory work
  • Motivated to progress into a leadership role while delivering exceptional client service
The role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant looking to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while developing their advisory skills and mentoring junior team members.

The role includes:
  • Managing a portfolio of business clients across a range of industries
  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
  • Delivering tax planning strategies and business advisory services to SME clients
  • Advising clients on complex taxation matters including Division 7A, CGT, trust distributions and business structuring
  • Reviewing the work of Intermediate and Graduate Accountants, providing coaching and technical guidance
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser to business owners
  • Liaising directly with the Australian Taxation Office and other statutory authorities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes and contribute to the ongoing growth of the firm
You'll work closely with experienced Managers and Partners, gaining exposure to advisory projects and strategic business discussions while continuing to develop your leadership skills.
