Senior Accountant | Business Services & Advisory

Looking for a role where you can work closely with high-quality clients, have genuine client contact from day one, and be mentored directly by an experienced Partner?

Overview 

This is an opportunity to join a progressive Top 50 accounting firm with an international network, modern systems, and a strong focus on staff wellbeing, training, and long term career development.

You’ll be joining a highly regarded Business Services & Advisory team working with wealthy private groups, established businesses, and complex entity structures in a genuinely client facing role.

The firm services a broad and high quality client base including:
  • HNW family groups and wealthy private clients
  • Property and investment structures
  • International subsidiaries
  • Medical and healthcare groups including doctors, dentists, and large GP networks

The opportunity 
Reporting directly to the Partner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a portfolio of approximately $500k
  • Preparation and review work for compliance matters
  • Overseeing workflow for 2 staff members.
  • Mentoring 2 direct reports across both onshore and offshore support
  • Client management and direct client interaction
  • Exposure to advisory, tax planning, and complex group structures
  • Working closely with wealthy family groups and established private clients
This is a client-facing role, suited to someone who enjoys building client rapport and becoming a trusted adviser rather than purely preparing compliance work.
 
About You
  • CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
  • Experience within Australian Public Practice
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Comfortable reviewing work and mentoring junior staff
  • Looking for a collaborative, long-term opportunity
  • Experience with Xero, FYI Docs, and CAS360 highly regarded
