As the Senior Administrator, you'll be the central point of support for the accounting team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations while delivering exceptional service to clients.
This is a varied, hands-on role that requires initiative, confidence and excellent problem-solving skills. You'll enjoy working independently while also supporting a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls and professional reception duties
- Preparing correspondence and documents using Microsoft Office
- Providing senior administrative support to accountants
- Liaising with the ATO and external stakeholders
- Managing client documentation and electronic signing processes
- ASIC and corporate compliance administration, including company registrations, annual reviews and company changes
- Supporting AML compliance requirements
- Debt collection follow-up
- Providing administration support to the SMSF team
- General office administration and process improvement
To be successful, you'll have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm (5+ years highly regarded)
- Strong knowledge of ASIC compliance and ATO processes
- Experience supporting accountants within a busy accounting practice
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- The confidence to work independently while knowing when to escalate matters
- Previous experience as an administration all-rounder
- Leadership skills with the ability to support and guide an administration team
- A positive, proactive attitude and exceptional organisational skills
- The ability to work predominantly from the East Melbourne office (limited work-from-home available)
85,000 + Super, depending on experience.
