Senior Administrator – NSW Government

Job description

Primary Purpose
To provide a range of Senior Administrative and Clerical services to the team to support the unit outcomes in a timely, reliable and highly efficient manner.

We are looking for someone who is:
  •  A ‘can do’ sort of person, comfortable working in a busy working environment
  • proficient in using TRIM for workflow, as well as records management
  • good with people
  • has experience in NSW government
  • proficient writing and communications skills, with experience in word/excel/powerpoint, to assist in preparation of documents
  • Experience with SAP, or similar.
Main activities would include:
  • Maintain tracking of work coming through the division (mainly using TRIM, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Follow up on material with people across the division, including senior managers
  • Coordinate and collate meeting papers, reports and coordinated division material
  • Review material to ensure it meets requirements
  • Occasional cover for the Executive Assistant in their absence, including extensive diary management
  • Provide admin support to the team as required.
 
Previous experience in a NSW State Government Department is essential.
