The Opportunity
Working closely with experienced Partners, you'll play a key role in a growing commercial practice, advising businesses and business owners across a broad range of commercial matters while enjoying meaningful client contact, increasing autonomy and the opportunity to become a trusted adviser to clients.
Your work is likely to include:
- Commercial contracts, drafting and negotiations
- Business sales and acquisitions
- Business and investment structuring
- Shareholder, partnership and joint venture arrangements
- Commercial leasing
- Intellectual property, licensing and franchising
- General commercial advisory and risk management
- Competitive salary package based on experience
- Approximately 70% commercial work and 30% commercial property-related matters, providing genuine variety across your practice

To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Admission to practise in Victoria with 4+ years' PAE in commercial law, gained in a boutique or mid-tier practice
- Strong commercial judgement, excellent time management skills and the ability to manage matters with increasing independence
- A collaborative mindset, commercial curiosity and a genuine desire to build a long-term career
