Manage Complex Clients Without Sacrificing Work-Life BalanceThis is an opportunity to join a highly respected CBD-based accounting and advisory firm that combines the technical complexity and client exposure of a larger mid-tier practice with the flexibility, culture and accessibility of a boutique environment.
With a team of approximately 100 staff and multiple specialist divisions, the firm has built an outstanding reputation advising a diverse client base ranging from entrepreneurial businesses and high-net-worth individuals through to large group structures, listed entities and international operations.
If you're looking to step into a role where you can genuinely add value, mentor a team and work closely with Directors on advisory-focused engagements, this could be the ideal next move.
The Opportunity

- Large group structures and consolidated entities
- Management accounting and strategic reporting
- Business structuring and restructuring advice
- Mergers and acquisitions support
- Cross-border taxation matters
- High-net-worth individuals and family groups
- Property investment and development groups
- Consumer products, professional services and international businesses
- Clients range from businesses turning over $1 million through to multi-billion-dollar listed organisations, providing exposure rarely found outside larger firms.
Genuine Work-Life Balance
- Flexible start and finish times
- Hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office)
- A culture that values efficiency rather than hours worked
- Minimal overtime expectations
- No productivity monitoring or micromanagement
Clear Career Progression
One of the firm's standout features is its structured and transparent career pathway.
Progression is supported by:
- Bi-annual salary and promotion reviews
- Clearly defined competency matrices
- Regular career planning discussions
- Leadership development opportunities
- Long-term pathways into Director-level positions
The firm has invested heavily in professional development with training delivered throughout the year, including:

- Access to CCH online resources

- Competitive salary package
- Discretionary bonus program
- Additional annual leave incentives
- Wellness days every six months
- Modern cloud-based systems and technology
- Supportive and collaborative team culture
- Exposure to technically challenging work
- Direct access to Directors and decision makers
You will ideally bring:
- 8+ years' experience within Australian Public Practice
