Senior Pricing Analyst - InsuranceLocation: Sydney CBD (Hybrid)
Rate: $1,100 - $1,300 per day + super
Contract: 6 months
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Pricing Analyst to join a leading insurance organisation on an initial 6-month contract basis.
This position will suit someone who enjoys working across end-to-end pricing activities including data preparation, risk modelling, pricing optimisation and underwriting support.
The role offers exposure to strategic projects, modern data environments, and the opportunity to contribute to the establishment of new pricing frameworks and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of pricing models and risk frameworks across insurance products
- Assist with data preparation, validation and portfolio analysis activities
- Contribute to rate book calibration and underwriting rule development
- Provide market insights and pricing recommendations based on industry trends
- Work closely with underwriting, analytics and project stakeholders to support broader business objectives
- Assist with pricing infrastructure and data integration initiatives
About You
- Qualified Actuary (FIAA, AIAA or equivalent)
- Experience within general insurance pricing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience with SQL and/or Python
- Exposure to Nat Cat modelling, Snowflake or pricing platforms highly regarded
- Strong communication skills with a commercially minded approach
This role would suit both established pricing actuaries and strong emerging talent looking to further develop their experience within a large-scale insurance environment.
