Job description

- Initial 6-month contract (Potential to convert to perm after)
- Senior PE pays $81 p/h + super
- PE pays $60.76 p/h + super
Tier 1 Construction Agency is looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer with extensive Construction experience to join their team. You will be working on the Cairns Convention Centre expansion and refurbishment.
Responsibilities (Senior PE):
- Play a key role in managing and resolving the design plans of complex packages.
- Managing subcontractors and suppliers to deliver a successful construction project.
- Lead and mentor intermediate engineers.
- Be a primary point of contact for the client
- Develop and maintain construction programs, manage procurement, and value engineering.
- Responsibility for quality and health and safety on the project.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience working as a Senior Project Engineer on Property Development projects for several years within a large Construction Company
- Double Covid vaccination
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
