About the Company:

We have partnered with a well-known transport organisation in the heart of Melbourne CBD, looking for an experienced Senior Service Desk Officer to join an established Service Desk Team, where you will be reporting into the Service Delivery Manager.

About the Role:

  • Perform support tasks in accordance with the defined incident, request & change process
  • Support the application hosting service, including rack and server service, network service, alarm and monitoring service
  • Contribute to and/or develop centralised communications of all outages
  • Assist and advise the Service Delivery manager with regards to day-to-day incidents and tasks assigned to the service desk team
  • Seek quotes from vendors and raise purchase orders for equipment and services
  • Ensure service desk tasks are resolved in accordance with service management procedure
  • Ensure all incidents and requests assigned to the Service Desk Team are updated in accordance with the response and resolution SLAs

About You:

  • Proven skills in planning work in a team capacity to meet internal and external stakeholders’ expectations
  • Must have proven team leadership skills and the capability to motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with proven experience in system problem solving skills
  • Demonstrate investigative and research skills as well as well developed conceptual and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities and follow direction to plan and organise.
  • Ability to work autonomously and seek guidance when necessary
  • Proof of vaccination certificate
