Job description

My reputable client in the energy market is looking for an experience Site coordinator for one of their recent projects. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 12 months starting immediately.

Reporting to the Workplace Services Manager, the Workplace Services Site Coordinator is responsible for ensuring exceptional facility service delivery to the  internal and external business.

Duties:

  • Manage a team of people consistent with Workplace Services and the companies people and performance standards
  • Lead the team to ensure services are delivered to the business at a high standard and the Workplace and Travel Group are represented positively across the business
  • Able to support sites in emergency response activity including within and outside of business hours
  • Meets regularly with key contacts to ensure Workplace Services and Property & Travel Group is delivering on business needs Deputise for the Workplace Services Manager during periods of absence
  • Ensure emergency events are responded to in line with procedures and drill activities are scheduled
  • Event earnings are identified and appropriate actions undertaken
  • Ensuring sufficient warden coverage, training is scheduled and recorded
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, suppliers ensuring all works undertaken onsite are in line with the companies contractor management directive
  • Set the standard of behaviour in Workplace Health, Safety and Environment. This includes participating in workplace ‘toolbox’ meetings and regularly logging OCIS observations and further training staff on the OCIS reporting programme.
  • Providing key business services to the company and its clients, specifically the portfolio assigned
  • Occasionally may be required to assist with interstate services
  • Contributing to (but not limited to) BAU relocations, block and stack projects, site fitouts, refurbishments and divesture
  • Providing Walk in Customers with assistance relating to their queries or complaints with the support of the Customer
  • Concierge Program Management of the bookings, inspections and maintenance of Electric Vehicles fleet at designated location

The successful candidate will:

  • 5 + years experience in facilities/soft services or similar role 3-5 years people management or supervision experience
  • Strong HSE awareness and proactive HSE disposition
  • Contribution to strategic direction of Workplace and Property teams
  • Experience dealing with key stakeholders and senior managers
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Flexible and approachable Able to travel interstate on occasion
