About the Company

Charterhouse are partnering with an iconic Melbourne brand on a pivotal role. This CBD based transport company have a unique opportunity for a skilled Stakeholder Engagement Advisor, to partner and oversee key supplier contracts. Reporting into the Corporate Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and supporting the development and delivery of stakeholder engagement strategies to enhance relationships. How you will make an impact?

  • Facilitate high quality communications and stakeholder engagement activities, including support for external conferences, award nominations and events
  • Provide specialist strategic advice and drive stakeholder communication and engagement
  • Help develop & implement campaigns
  • Monitor, analyse and present feedback on a continual basis on areas of performance that are critical for stakeholder and community support
  • Prepare key messaging and briefs to relevant stakeholder groups
  • Monitor relevant political, policy and sector developments and keeping internal stakeholders up to date on risks and opportunities
  • Support senior leadership with external engagement, including development of messaging
  • Where applicable support with delivery of appropriate engagement training across the organisation

About you:

  • Proven experience within public affairs, engagement, corporate affairs and / or State politics
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline (including public policy, communications or similar)
  • Experience running & facilitating strategic engagement projects
  • Demonstrated experience successfully liaising with key stakeholder skills and a keen interest in public affairs
  • Strong influencing skills as well as being commercially minded and a strategic thinker
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards work & passion for community
