Job description
A systems BA is needed to work with a leading financial services company where you will implement a large system and hand it over to an IT service delivery team
This leading financial institution has seen rapid growth over the past decade. With a number of exciting projects in place the need for a highly-qualified systems BA has arisen to join their highly professional and dedicated team. In this role you will play a pivotal part in implementing a system where you will then hand it over to the IT service delivery team. You will be very technically focused, a strong problem solver that enjoys working in a collaborative and results driven team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Write SQL queries to problem solve, architect and build requirements
- Elicit detailed business requirements and ensuring end-to-end process integrity is maintained across multiple systems and business units
- Writing technical specifications or system integration documents
- Execute different testing types – integration, functional and regression
- Lead key business users through UAT
- Working in an agile delivery environment and able to work with a cross functional team enabling delivery of projects
- Understand technical dependencies between work across the IT environment and collaborating to problem solve
- Project management of the end to end engagement with the business and IT
- Lead system and process improvement to deliver improved business performance
- Partner with internal and external experts to achieve project outcomes
- Build credible and effective relationships with business leaders and IT
To be successful for this position you will need to display:
- Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent
- Background with ITIL highly regarded
- 5 + years of experience implementing Large Systems
- Financial background highly regarded
- Ability to develop cross-functional relationships and work autonomously in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and business presentation skills
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a focus on continuous
- improvement and driving innovation
- Working with CRM, EPR
- Facilitate discussions between stakeholders to drive defined requirements and solutions, transcending through from business managers to developers
