Technical Project Manager

Job description

This exciting government organisation have recently invested heavily in this new project that you could be a part of.
 
This large government organisation are seeking a Project Manager to run multiple projects across software implementations and integration working closely with a technical vendor.
 
You will be responsible for the end to end project management of multiple projects across this large organization.
 
The organization is seeking an individual who can hit the ground running with experience managing multiple projects across IT including software integrations and implementations
 
Experience in:

• Prioritisation and its process
• Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering end to end operations projects
• Understanding the technical elements and requirements of the projects and programs
• Providing clear workflows on process for the change management lifecycle
• Preparing clear and concise reports for stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of governance framework and project lifecycle
• Preparation of all governance material: risks, issues, status reports, schedule, resourcing, financial management
• Stakeholder reporting
• Managing resources, both contractor and BAU
• Knowledge of system change and CAB
• Working collaboratively across multiple departments
• Extensive stakeholder management experience
• Sound understanding both technical and functional aspects of an operational project
• End to end execution in project documentation: closure, steerco, project initiation

Must haves:

• Be enthusiastic in nature
• Great financial acumen
• Working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent People Skills
• Multi tasking – will be managing a number of projects at one time
• Agile and Waterfall Experienced
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• JIRA & Confluence is essential
• PPM tool, daptiv desirable
• Sound financial management skills
• 8 + years experience managing large budgets
