Bookkeeper - Temp-to-Perm - Full Time position
About the Company
My client, a distribution company based in South-East suburbs (Clayton), requires an experienced Bookkeeper to be responsible for the general AP/AR & general bookkeeping duties within their business. You will be working in a small finance team of 2, reporting in to the Finance Manager.
About the Role (not limited to)
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Invoicing and reconciliations
- Prepare, reconcile and process BAS and other statutory obligations
- Assist finance manager with internal monthly and quarterly figures for reporting
- Entering timesheet/hours of warehouse staff (payroll is outsourced)
- Other admin/support tasks
You will need/have experience with:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role to include all of the above duties - (within the import/export/distribution or warehouse sector will be advantageous but not essential)
- Effective, clear and confident verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong ability to prioritise and work to timelines
- Working knowledge of SAP will be an advantage (but not essential)
- Excellent technical skills, using various applications, including intermediate Excel
- Flexible attitude to tasks/duties
- Right to work in Australia
