About our client
Our client has a strong reputation in the Sydney market and a large contributor to this successful reputation is due to their strong Corporate Commercial team, due to the continued growth they are looking for a dynamic Associate to join the team.
About the role
- Working directly with Partner on wide range of matter for variety of clients
- Develop strong client relationships with existing clients
- Drafting advice, contracts etc.
- Advise Australian and international clients across variety of industries
- Involved in public and private mergers and acquisitions
- Advising clients on Corporations Act and Listing Rule compliance, managed funds, major projects, joint ventures etc.
- Active role in BD being involved with a range of marketing and client development initiatives
About you
- 2-5 years PQE experience in a corporate commercial practice
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously but enjoy being a team player
- Superior attention to detail
- Strong academics
- Contribute positively to the team and firm environment
