About our client 

This National market leading medical devices company is hiring a new role supporting the Group Legal Manager and Company Secretary. The organisation is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal who will come from either a private practice or in-house role. Duties to include:

  • Managing claims in relation to medical malpractice
  • Legal research
  • Reviewing confidentiality agreements and supplier contracts 
  • Preparing legal documentation
  • Managing and maintaining contracts
  • Diary management
  • Board reporting
  • Domestic travel
  • Preparing/collating reports
  • Preparing presentations, complex documents and reports
  • Processing expenses

 
About you 

The successful candidate will ideally be from a private practice law firm (with experience supporting at partner level) or have experience working in the in-house legal department of a large organisation. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to converse across all levels of the business; have advanced Microsoft office skills and a personable approach.
