About the role

This national corporate firm is looking for a professional legal secretary to support in their Commercial Litigation practice supporting two partners and a team. The practice advises on a range of commercial disputes including intellectual property, professional negligence and aviation. This firm has an excellent reputation as a leading corporate law firm who offer a range of benefits to their employees including career development opportunities, paid parental leave, purchased annual leave and corporate discounts. This role will suit someone has a proactive approach to their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment.   
 
Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support to two partners and a team in dispute resolution  
  • Drafting and amending legal documents such as subpoenas and affidavits
  • Monthly expenses
  • Timesheet entry and monthly billing
  • Diary management 
  • Opening and closing files 
  • Excel reporting 

 
Requirements: 

  • A minimum two years’ experience working in a law firm 
  • A flexible attitude to work 
  • Ability to multi-task and be a quick learner 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills 
  • A positive, enthusiastic, can do attitude
