About the role 

This Medico Legal specialist is looking for an experienced Typist with a knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures to join their close-knit team. The role will be supporting a team of specialists that provide independent medical assessments to law firms, insurance companies and other organisations. This role is a full time, permanent role and will suit an experienced Secretary with strong administration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Dictaphone typing of reports and other documents
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Diary management
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Responding to emails to arrange and update appointments
  • Other administrative tasks as required


Requirements:

  • Prior experience working as a Secretary in Medico Legal or a law firm
  • A fast an accurate typing speed
  • A sound knowledge of legal terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
