Job description
- 3 month contract opportunity

 - Based in the Eastern suburbs
 
Based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs, the role will report to the Manager of Risk & Performance. The primary function of the role is to assist with the day to day administrative support in the Risk & Performance unit. 
Responsibilities will include:
- Promote a safe working environment and monitoring compliance with legislative requirements
 - Helping to maintain OHS records, workers compensation, risk management and emergency management
 - Maintaining and ensuring database is up to date concerning all matters of health and safety and producing reports as required
 - Assisting with internal reporting measures as well as processing invoices and purchase orders
 - Liaising with staff on an ongoing basis regarding health, safety and environment including making recommendations and promoting training
 
 
To be successful in this role:
- You will have worked in a fast paced administration role previously
 - Previous experience in injury management/ return to work would be advantageous
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 - Previous experience within local government would be advantageous
