About the firm 

This global law firm is looking for an experienced secretarial manager to come onboard and help strengthen the firms already strong management team. This role will report directly into the Operations Manager and will have overall responsibility of the secretarial resources. The firm are undergoing a global restructure and this role will be pivotal in supporting that change. The firm have a professional yet relaxed culture and pride themselves on the support they offer their people.


  • Review and develop the current administration structure and advise on suitable changes as required
  • Training and mentoring of all secretarial staff
  • Oversee secretarial graduate program
  • Working closely with the talent team on the recruitment of new staff
  • Reviewing secretarial processes and procedures
  • Manage annual performance and salary reviews
  • Managing the secretarial leave calendar
  • Implementation of new processes, structures and technology
  • Manage annual budgets


  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in professional services
  • Experience managing administration staff
  • Change management experienced
  • Performance management and employee relations experience
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
