About the role

This role will involve predominantly working on Indemnity matters involving various positions such as certifiers, valuers, builders, architects, designers, manufacturers, pest controllers and others.

As the firm have strong relationships with clients you will be involved in advisory work as well as litigation and alternative dispute resolution dependent on what is the most pragmatic avenue for the clients.

In this opportunity there will be a high level of client interaction and client care is a massive priority with the Partner this role is reporting to, as it is with the firm.

Although this is primarily a Professional Indemnity role, you should be able to demonstrate versatility as and when the client requires this. This role will involve handling coverage matters as well as defence. As an experienced Lawyer you will be comfortable handling subrogated recoveries and have experience in NCAT.

Ideally applicants will possess:

• At least 5 years PQE in Indemnity matters
• Willingness to mentor and supervise junior members of the staff
• Good communication skills and willingness to carry out a high level of client contact
