About Our client
Our client is a national law firm that has experienced unrivalled growth in recent history and ambitions to continue for the foreseeable future, this firm are highly regarded across multiple practice areas. The Sydney office is a modern office located in a very convenient location. Our client has a large Employment practice with multiple Lawyers regularly acknowledged in Legal publications as leading Employment lawyers.
About the role
This role will be replacing a Senior Lawyer within the team departing for the bar and therefore there may be potential for a handover as they depart on good terms. Another positive to this departure is that the outgoing lawyer leaves an existing, and varied practice that consists of both WHS and pure Employment matters.
As is in line with the firm’s values you will be expected to invest time in to the mentoring and supervision of the junior lawyers and therefore you must be a team player willing to share your considerable knowledge and experience.
This is an excellent opportunity if you are an accomplished Employment Lawyer who has Partnership in your sights in the not-so-distant future.
Ideally you will possess:
- At least 5 years PQE in Employment and WHS
- Excellent drafting skills
- A high level of client care
- An ability, and willingness to mentor more junior members of the team
